Hello WA Family,

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and you are now back to serious business.

I live in Italy and speak Italian and A friend of nine from the USA, got in touch with me because he had gotten a prospect and she's Italian.

I love Italians when it comes to finances, when you start talking money that's when you can see how brilliant they are.

I was just the mediator and she asked me tough questions that got me thinking.

Her question was simple I don't mind Joining a company or paying subscription but how long because that subscription starts paying for itself?

I don't want to lose my hard earned money. I feel it's a great question that one needs to seriously think about. It is a very smart question and I was glad that she opened my eyes.

As with every business it's nice to really work hard and have a long term goal but in between what happens?

I hope I can get some great ideas from the Community?

Thank you 🙏

Cinderella

I consider the cost of my subscription an expense that I must pay for my business to go forward. I'm willing to wait until the website is paying its own way -- meanwhile, I'll help it out. Black Friday is a great time to renew because of the savings. I'll be renewing soon.

Great but was looking for a solution that is an opinion I am trying to learn from all of you..but great way to look at things and appreciate the answer

Like others have said, it's all relative and depends on how you use WA. In my case, I currently run a consultation service. My first paid hour of consultation pays for my WA membership fee and then some.

I've heard of others paying for their subscription by providing comments to other WA members using the Site Comments section. Once certified a person can potentially earn enough credits each month to pay for WA.

Of course the best way is by referring other premium members to the program. Once you get three premium members to sign and stay beyound that first month, you are in profit for that month and every recurring month that your referrals remain premium members. Like Joe said, I think that's the best deal to go with.

Definitely a lot of possibilities here, but it all depends on how a person uses them.

Great answer and thank you for the insight

I look at it this way. Any business requires an investment if it is real. If there is none, it feels like it has no value. To me that investment pays for itself right away even before one starts to earn an income.

How?

We are paying for an education that would cost many times more elsewhere. Instead of paying say $200 a month that many others charge, it is only $49 a month. Hence. I feel that I am already making a profit of $151 a month.

With this attitude I do not worry how long it will take me to earn $50 a month. When I joined WA I estimated it would take me about a year to start earning enough to more than cover my subscription. But if it takes longer, so be it. I am building an asset that will pay me a living income working a couple of hours a day instead of eight or more.

I hope this helps.

Edwin

Thank you the post is for brain storming so I can see where I am missing it great insights Thanks

Hope it works out for you.

This is a question I was asked and I turned it into a post brainstorms you see how others think..Great way to learn

Referrals seems to be the fastest way to earnings. Hard to get quick results from the website using SEO, but it can and is being done.
Tough question.
Joe

I love asking tough questions Joe, I have always been like this and my late mum used to worry but I have turned out alright 😀

I can tell you how many times she was on her knees covering me in prayers she would you have no fear..Lol

It worked!
Joe

Yes it did but I still have a curious mind

Don't ever give that up.
Joe

It is hard labor. Takes time to learn and grow as wEll!

Thanks a lot

Great post Cindy, thank you for sharing.
Following, to read the replies...

I was brainstorming to see how others think great way to learn

Yes, brainstorming is a great way to learn.

We are so blessed to be in this awesome community.

Yes we are

Success lies in how we work, it may be a short time, it may be a long time. So when you can pay your subscription depends on how you crack the funnel to flow.

Thank you great insight

Hi Cinderella,

It's a good question but one that is generally asked by someone who hasn't ever run a business before. The reason that there isn't a set answer to this is because the responsibility of success and return on investment, doesn't lie in the subscription but in the person joining.

Perhaps, remind them of how many years they spent in University, not earning and with no promise of a job at the end of 4 years, sometimes more.

Most of us have worked for a wage all our lives. This has trained us to think, 'if I turn up, I will be paid for my time.' And unless you do a terrible job, you will continue to be paid for your 'time.'
A job gives you no control, you have a boss, and you don't share in any profits you make for that company.

A business or subscription to learn how to build a business leaves the responsibility for producing an income from that knowledge, squarely in the subscription buyers lap.

Please notice, I say responsibility, this is the big boys world.
You won't be paid just to turn up.
You will be paid by your own business, if you learn the ABC of creating a business. You can sell either other peoples products or your own and make profit but will you?
You will be your own boss, can be as creative as you like and reap all the profit after expenses.

But the responsibility is all yours. So to answer your friends question. Ask them a few questions.

Have you ever run a business?
How fast do you learn a new skill?
Will you apply what you learn?
Are you self motivated and a self starter?
Will you take advice from mentors?
Are you tough enough to make a mistake, fix it and keep going?
Are you an employee or do you want to be the boss?
Do you have grit and determination?
Can you learn and grow over years towards your future?
Do you have a dream?

Because to get their money back on a subscription to WA or any other learning course, they are going to have to be prepared to learn about a whole new world of business online. It will be a steep learning curve.
"No pain, no gain"
" No free lunches"
"No complaining to the boss "

Just LEARN, GROW, EARN. It could take a year or 5 years. Only THEY can decide that. How smart, how teachable are they?

That's why WA is so great. Here you are safe and supported to take however long you need to change from being an employee to a business owner.

Their future, the return on investment is in their hands.

Short answer; 'How badly do you want to own your own business?

Hope this helps. Love to hear what you think, so leave a comment.

Lily 😊

In my life I don’t stop people from asking questions for me this is a good question that one has to ask if you want to be successful.

You have to live in Italy to understand where she was coming from other cultures live in a now moment Italians brainstorm things through to avoid stress and eventualities which I admire and respect - I wrote that post to see ideas and learn but she had the right to ask the question

She very skilled and creative and she has no problem with subscription but she wanted assurance. I respect her question and admire her for asking a tough question

I think the subscription gives you the access to the tools you can use to build a business especially someone with zero experience like myself, but the onus is on you to make your business a success if you follow the instructions and implement them. When you meet obstacles you always ask questions to get the help you need. The return on investment will start to show on the knowledge and skills you acquire which will ultimately result in the earnings or profits. Atleast that's how I see it.

Thank you great tips we are brainstorming from a question a prospect asked I just turned it into a blog post for learning purposes Thank you so much 😊

You are welcome

That's like asking `how long is a piece of string.`
It's all relative.
It depends upon the amount of hours they are prepared to work, how dedicated they will be and how hard they are prepared to work to reach their goals.
If you have no commitments and are working at WA for 16 ish hours a day, the subscription will pay for itself sooner than someone who has a lot of commitments and can only manage 5 hours a day.
On my blog I say a minimum of 6 months but more likely it will take a year or more, because I want to be honest and would rather people who signed up wanted to work hard and intended to stay.
Hope this helps.

When a prospect asks a question you listen and try to give them answers that will help them and that’s what I am looking for..

It’s a great question that needs to be asked it makes one understand what needs to be done in order to succeed

I always encourage people to ask questions because it’s from there that we learn. Thank you so much
