Are you struggling?

This sentence has been going through my thoughts today!

So I am wondering who it is that is struggling today?

We all go through struggles! I myself have only accomplished half as much, maybe even less then that, then I thought I would have accomplished after the months I have been here.

These past months life has thrown me several hefty punches. Yet, I am sure I am not the only one who has had punches thrown at them by life in these past days and months. And I know that it is when we are in the storm, and life is tossing us around, and tossing circumstances at us, that we can find it hard to focus on learning and the work of developing our site.

When I am in the storm, I know that it is a time when I have to take extra time to be in The Word, in prayer and cranking up the praise and worship, along with finding quiet time to be still and listen. And of course, that means not nearly as much time on my site.

When I come to work on the site during the storm, sometimes it could be overwhelming as I ask myself where do I start with so much yet to learn and so much yet to accomplish.

Yet, I have the experience of having lived through many, many storms. And I have learned not to let the large picture overwhelm me.

So if you are struggling, find that one thing that you know you can accomplish today!

It may be responding to recent follows, connecting with a WA member, listening to one tutorial of something you desire to learn or simply refresh in your mind, writing a blog post, gathering information for a post or page, or maybe it is just searching for images for your site.

Don't let yourself be overwhelmed, find that one thing that you know you can accomplish today! And do it!

Then you will be able to rest in knowing that you have moved forward! Every little step counts!

Remember as a child, you took baby steps before you walked and then ran!

As the storm subsides and the force of the storm is no longer attempting to hold you back, then you will walk and then run!

Be Blessed!

Love it, Christa! I'm busy with my new job, but I still connect with WA every day. When I don't have the time to write or take lessons I still have the time to read, answer questions - and this way I still feel on track with my dream to create a really good website and to be able to earn money from it one day...

You will Marie, it is just a matter of time. I feel like my life is that of a Sequoia tree, lol, taking a while longer to steadily grow to fruition, lol! But oh what amazing fruit will be borne! :)

I love yr blog, my dear Christa. :) As what Ade says, as if you knew what was going on ... I think she is right, I am also going through something very tough these few days personally ... but I know our God is great, failthul and compassionate!! I just hold on to Him knowing that He knows what is best for me and my family. :) He knows the way and He will know what is best for us. He will not leave us nor forsake us. :)

No weapon formed against us will prosper and any tongue that rises up He will condemn.

Where does my help comes from? My help comes from the creator of heaven and earth ...

God is good all the time ... All the time God is good... :)

Great inspirational post!! Thanks a million!! :)

I am blessed by the number of people who have said it helped them including you my dear sis. I just listened to Holy Spirit. When I started writing all I had was the picture and the title I had no idea what was going to be written. I do so enjoy when Holy Spirit leads, because I may not know what is going on but Holy Spirit does! I am sorry to hear you are going through a tough challenge, bind the enemy and keep using the sword of the Word as you do and you will have a glorious victory. I can hardly wait to hear the victory report! Will pray for you, Christa :)

Hi Christa. We all get tossed about by the waves of life! The secret is to hold on to the life raft and ride it out :) You are correct- find that one thing, but do move forward. With a little time we will get our MoJo back and swim at ease.
That picture is awesome. My cousin was stationed off of an island in the North Atlantic in a Lighthouse. The walls were 8 ft thick. He said the thunderous noise and power of the sea were incredible. He was there 6 months!!
We are all in the same boat Christa and it is good when we throw out the Lifesaving Rings to one another. There is a ship full us,and we can tow each other along :)
Have a sweet Sunday!

You obviously have a big heart Christabelle, i wear mine on my sleeve and i suspect you are much the same, it's funny how people like us always seem to get the roughest ride, i was a rodeo champion before my 20th B day(metaphorically speaking) this is another beautiful post with a lovely message, you should be a writer, if you're not already.

I am not a writer - yet, except here. I am pretty open and straight forward, a what you see is what you get kind of person. The enemy doesn't like people of heart for fear of how they may be able to connect with the Lord and then be able to touch others for Him. The enemy is a fear biter, and they are the most dangerous. A rodeo rider eh, I bet you have some interesting stories.

Sorry i think I've mislead you Christabelle, i meant riding rodeo in the metaphorical sense of rough rides. I was a diesel jockey (H G V driver) for 27 yrs sorry about that.

That is such a great point Christa... I'm a firm believer in the one thing that will make all the difference and there is ALWAYS time for that one thing. Great reminder and inspiration!!

Storms are the practical part of learning the knowledge we read in books, blogs, see in videos, hear from people etc. It is easy to be fantastic when times are great... A lot more challenging when we are faced with a challenge.

Great post!! Really enjoyed it.

Thank you for sharing. I've been thinking maybe I'm the only one with those thoughts from time to time. Some days it seems hard to identify the progress. I've been cutting down on my community interaction to free up more time for learning and site building.

Some days I manage to spend only a small amount of time here. I'm retired, but there are days when life needs my attention ... taking care of things around the house, running errands, helping my wife with the grocery shopping ... you know, life stuff.

I thought I would progress faster than I have, but I am accepting the notion that the this is a marathon ... not a race. I WILL get it done ... giving up is not an option.

I am not working a job at this time either due to circumstances in my life, but you are right when you say life stuff happens. We are still not on an island, and for some of us there is a lot of life swirling around us! Yet I agree giving up is never an option! :) Blessings, Christa :)

Thank you for your words of wisdom. You are so right when you say that during the struggles is the time for much praise and worship. Our God's promise is, that this too shall pass, and praise and worship makes it go by much faster. Then we can do double-time on what we are trying to accomplish. God bless you my sister!!!

Yes. I struggle. I think wishing, hoping or praying is a 50/50, coin flip situation at best. I don't like the odds. I figure if I work harder or longer or both, I can increase my odds. I am fully responsible for everything I do.

I always know that the victory is mine in the Lord! It is just finding my way through the storm that sometimes can be a challenge and even then I know if I lean into Him He will show me the way!

Life is difficult, sometimes I have to find my get away and that is by going to my bed and going to sleep, or going out and driving or going out for a ride on Durgin. This also means less time on my website, but while i'm out driving I just think. I rarely turn the radio on anymore because I am always thinking. What will my next article be about? What will the content be? What kind of income will I make from all this marketing? Will I be able to build that barn for my horse one day?

Everything I do ends up coming back to having my horse and fiancé in mind. I want to build him his luxurios barn, and I want to build her that big house she wants.
