Recorded The First Timelapse Video For My Blog Yesterday

Yesterday I set up my "studio equipment" for the very first time and recorded a first timelapse video for a review on my blog. I bought a set of two photo-/videolights with softboxes on amazon.de for around 80 EUR (roughly 100 USD at the time of me writing this) and used my iPhone for recording. Here's my setup in our livingroom :-)

I wanted to record a quick timelapse video of me building a Hubelino Marble Run for which I recently published a review on my blog and I am pretty happy with the result, taking into account that the equipment used was not overwhelmingly expensive. The videolights are really bright and the shadow's are pretty soft, which I really like!

Here's what I used:

Lights: $100 videolights with lightboxes (set of two) ordered from amazon.de (I bet there is something similar on amazon.com)

Camera: iPhone 6S with a (probably) 40 year old tripod borrowed from my dad; I recorded at normal speed and added the timelapse during editing. I'd always recommend taking that route as recorsing in timelapse mode right from the start means you are losing tons of information and won't be able to slow down the video later!
