I just checked my amazon associates account in order to create links I wanted to add to an older blog post and clicked on reports, just for the sake of it...

In terms of money, this is certainly not that amazing. It's just a buck! But it's such a huge mental win. It proofs that the system works: There are people out there (complete strangers) that care about MY opinion, and people that TRUST my words to such a degree that they buy a product that I recommended to them. And there is already some traffic on my site.
