WA is well worth the annual fee if you put in the effort!
I jumped in competing with the Big Boys.
I have a travel site.

19 of them are on the first page of google, and 7 of 19 are in the 1st slot on the first page.
Revenue is $3,168.00 thus far.
Mr Kyle said when I signed up, it takes three years.
He just may be right.

Fantastic! Make sure with Amazon if you don't have 3 sales in 90 days they will suspend you and make you resubmit app. I just bought stuff I needed through my site in the beginning to avoid the hassle. Sell only what you love and tell everyone why. You will attract business through sincerity.

Why not, you are asking the world to shop your online store.
Retailers don't care either.
Legally, there are no issues as well.
I'm not so sure, Chris! I've read posts here, especially by Diane Scorpio, that say Amazon will jump all over us if we do that! In fact, I had a son living in one of my houses who bought one of my books left a review, and they explained that he could not do that because he must be related to me, therefore--no go!
I have also read other member posts a while back saying that their account was suspended due to suspicious buying activities! Apparently, it was determined that they and their family were buying through the member's links! Crazy, I know, I completely agree with you that we SHOULD be able to get our sales through our own links.
For these reasons, I have never bothered with Amazon Affiliates, besides the commissions went in the toilet as well! I am waiting to see if we get additional clarification on this with other answers to your post! 🤞🤞 because I am in complete agreement with you on this, but I have read many things to the contrary!

Hi Jeffrey, when I started WA another member told me about this after I was made to reapply. I did it to remove stress the first few months with no issues or complaints from Amazon. Commissions had no bearing on my reasoning. Now with some solid exposure, the ball is rolling on it's own.
All the best!
