Tracking My Website.

I am getting mind-boggled. Is there a neat organized way to track links, sales and referrals. How do you set up tracking codes or ID's. It seems we have set up numerous programs etc. during training but trying to follow them all is overwhelming.

Right now I have:

1. Google Webmaster Tools for which we set up a "starter" and "premium" sign up goals and entered tracking goals in the "links & tracking" page of WA. We did the same with Bing. I have not seen these or figured out how to use them since.
2. I have links pasted all over social networks but which ones are being clicked on I do not know.
3. I have some free advertising but again other than seeing number of views on the ad sites I have no way of knowing who is doing what
4. I am using Bing ads and I seem to be doing OK with impressions and clicks but I do not know if I set up any goals as a measurement of success and if I did where to find them.
5. I have links here at WA and access to the information here to promote WA but again I do not know how to track it.
6. I have URL shorteners which do tell me the number of clicks but not where they are coming from
7. I have Google Analytics and to date that is where I have been trying to get most of my information from but I am still not really getting what I am looking for.

Right now I have no idea at all where my referrals are coming from....from free ads, from Bing Ads, from Social networks, etc.

I have spent a great deal of time trying to find information on how to create tracking codes (ids) and how to organize them in a logical manner and even where to keep them organized. (Like a Password keeper) May be there is no such thing...I do not know.

Tracking is one area where WA fails miserably in the training.

When we set up GWT according to training we created a tracking code, copied it into the page here at WA and that is all that was said. Right now I do not even know where to find the code. Some follow-up information on how to use the codes would be fantastic. I remember after copying and pasting the code I said to myself "Now What?" I assumed further training would go into more detail. Well I have finished both the Bootcamp and The Entrepreneur Certification and those tracking codes were never mentioned again.

So if there are any link tracking experts out there I would love some help, some advice or just some information.

I would love to see some Comprehensive training on this subject! Tracking Everything! For some reason it seems to have been avoided by our founders.
