Once you identify the niche, you need to start writing the content for your website. Let's look at some simple tips to start writing content for your website:

What is the story that you want to tell

What do you want to convey to your audience, break it down into smaller topics putting a logical framework to your website so that you create a mind map of what to write where. Your visitors will also be interested in certain topics and they will also find it easy to reach to the section that they are interested in. For eg: If you want to write about preventing hair loss, your pages could be:

• Diets
• Exercises
• Product reviews

This will give initial framework to your website for ideas to come in.

Begin with the end in mind - takeaway

ave the conclusion and takeaway in mind before you start writing the content for the posts and work backwards and put your thoughts accordingly. That way, you would know how to place your ideas with the flow of the post and which areas to focus more and how to join all the dots to the conclusion that you have in mind.

Make it short and sweet

You really don't need to be a scholar in English to write good quality content. You just need have a natural flow of thoughts that you want to convey to your visitor and most of the people love short and sweet, to the point content. Make sure that your content is small paragraphed with proper use of images as appropriate to make it more appealing and engaging.

Don't write and edit at the same time

Very important that you focus on getting the ideas out first before you start editing. Once you have all the content in front of you, you would know what is relevant and what can be skipped. This ensures that you have more content to play with and make it crisp and to the point by editing it after you are done penning it down completely.

Let it be time bound

t took me almost 15 days to come out with an article for one of my posts earlier in my career. The reason is i wanted to make it the best in the world and i didn't even know what the best was. You just need to be natural with your content and make sure it is time bound. Your subconscious mind will keep telling you that you need to be better but make sure you listen to it only during the time that you allocated for it :).

Be inspired but be YOU

Well, you have to be as original as possible and that's what your visitors are going to love and this is so true with Google as well. But that doesn't mean that you cannot be influenced or inspired by something which already exists. Its YOU who has to come out on a certain post that you create and you can certainly be inquisitive about what you research before you start writing and that will make your content YOU specific.
