Living Past Harvey in the Great City of Houston, Texas
Things are coming back to 'normal' for some of us here in Houston. Most store shelves are stocked again with food and necessities, bottled water is easier to find, as is gasoline. Our favorite fast food restaurants have opened, and the city curfew has been lifted. The trash pick-up, and mail delivery systems are back on track. Of course there are many who lost everything, and my heart and prayers go out to them, as well as those affected by Irma. Houston is a great city, and thousands of agencies, companies, and individuals have banded together to offer money, time, man/woman power, and support to those in need.
While the city was paralyzed by the water and storm, and afterwards during the chaos, I lost time on working on my WA goals. But thanks to the family-styled support and inspiration here at WA, I am getting back on track! I sincerely thank each and everyone of you for the kind culture here at WA. Today I actually put my first website together! I still have to add content before I can show off;-)! This huge accomplishment for me has come out of the inspiration and support I have continued to experience, since Day 1, from the WA community. So to new and seasoned members, continue to delve in and feel the love, and support, and keep on to make your dreams become reality. WA community, I sure appreciate you for sticking by my side on my journey to freedom. Much love!

OH, I AM POSTING a PICTURE OF THE POSSUM THAT GOT IN THROUGH STORM DAMAGE, AND STAYED FOR A DAY AND A HALF BEFORE I DISCOVERED IT. We combed the house, knowing some creature had come through, just wasn't sure what! My 3 chow chows, never saw it either, and it came through the room where we all sleep, and into the kitchen from the upstairs bath! Finally, we put it outside via the window!!
