Who owns my Site ? according to statuslite
Hello everybody, I have a question. When I googled my site name www.walktobehealthy.com the first spot that came up was a site called statuslite giving information and stats on my site. What was interesting was it says the owner is domain shield.

I purchased the domain name through Wealthy Affiliate's registration and domain hosting is here as well. I am a bit confused regarding this information, do I have all the rights to my site or does "domain shield" have some control, if anyone has an idea I would love to hear from you.

you own it as long as you keep renewing the domain name, however there are things put in place to protect you from scammers and unsolicited emails
Vagabond is correct. It keeps you from getting emails and phone calls from companies offering to build your website and sell you stuff.
