Following the core training, first three days of achievements!
Good morning, and happy Monday to all the WA Fam.
So, the core training has begun, and even though I have only completed the first 11 lessons, I feel like I have learnt massive amounts, and achieved more than I was expecting.
My eyes have been well and truly opened to the amazing world of AI, and the benefits we can gain from utilising this tool for affiliate marketing, as well as other areas of life.
My website is still very basic, I've not attempted any theme changes yet, but I have some articles published and the logo uploaded, as per the training.
I would really appreciate it if some of you could take the time to have a look and see where there are areas for improvement with the articles (I know there are a couple of photo alignment issues that I need to rectify on the 'Beginners guide' article) any feedback would be gratefully received.

Hey, Cath, thanks for sharing your progress. About feedback, there is a dedicated page for it where you can guarantee honest comments from the gurus.
Just head on to Websites => SiteFeedback (Main Menu) and ask/request feedback. You can even select/choose what kind of feedback you are looking for.
Apart from adding a site logo, add site icon (same image, different functions). Most beginners don't do this but it's as important for many reasons as a site logo is.
Wishing you the best as you build your profitable website, your virtual shop.
John
It's looking great, Cath, well done!
I agree with Boris - perhaps a few more images would be nice.
https://www.pexels.com/ is a good place to get free images.
Eric's classes on websites are great! You'll learn that you don't even have to change your theme. With a few tweaks to the appearance of the Generate Press theme (Customize > Appearance) you can make it look your own (perhaps more green for a plant website?) and very professional.
Keep going and well done!
Thank you. I’ve not really got to the website appearance training yet, but will definitely take your advice when I get there, and thanks for the images link.
How many images is too many for articles, can you have too many?
Great progress so far, Cath!
I took a look at your site, and since it’s about plants, adding more images would really enhance it.
I’d also recommend using featured images in the blog roll—it’ll make the page more engaging and visually appealing for visitors.
Keep going, you’re off to a great start!
Kind regards,
Boris
Hi Boris, thank you for the feedback. Yes, I’ve not really got to the website appearance yet in my training, just completed the initial content creation part, at the moment. I’m not sure how many photos are too many on the blog articles, so it was those and my logo really.
I’m looking forward to getting a better looking site, and I really appreciate your feedback.

Great going in such a short amount of time Cath!
Website looks great! With more time and more training, you will learn how to make it more aesthetically pleasing to the eye... but just concentrate on content for now is my advice!
All the very best moving forward my friend! :-)
Thank you ☺️
You're most welcome my friend! :-)
