Making Purchases from Your Family
Hello!
This thought just came to my mind, and I felt compelled to write about it. I would like to share my thoughts with those of you who have taken the time to read this post.
So, we all need to buy things: some items are bought out of sheer need or necessity while others are impulse purchases (those things that we can survive without but REALLY want)! I know that I buy many things on impulse and, most of the time, I'm happy with the decision I have made. There are those things that I take a little time contemplating before hitting the "Process Order" button as well.
I feel it would benefit ALL of us if, when visiting each other's sites and noticing products/items/services that we can use (or just wish to have), to purchase them from our Wealthy Affiliate family members' sites as opposed to going to Amazon (or elsewhere) and buying from a total stranger. Do you feel the same way about this?
I don't believe there is anything wrong with this and know that our fellow WA (Wealthy Affiliate) members would benefit and, in turn, we would also benefit since we would be helping each other generate sales.
There are many, many wonderful members here who truly go above and beyond to help. We are not seeking to get a monetary reward when we answer questions in Chat or offer help/advice. So, why not reward our fellow members here by purchasing something of theirs when it catches our eye or interest?

I have no problem buying from a fellow WA. I am unsure how this would work. How do I know who is an affiliate for the product I want?

I figured that if we were on a fellow member's site (say, for example, we were offering feedback or site comments or however we came across it), we can then buy something -- if we wished to do so -- via one of their affiliate links!

I like the idea of it but I am not sure if it is allowed here. A couple of people have been having this discussion.

So, if we visit a member's site (say via Site Comments, Feedback, or from their profile page), we may not be allowed to purchase something from them, that we care to buy? I am not at all aware of this being the case, but I guess we will find out. I don't see why this would be prohibited. It's not that you are soliciting or asking for this. Really, it's leaving it up to the individual to make a decision. : )

That is the way I feel also. And I am not sure exactly how this works I just know there has been a lot of talk about it. And I would find out for sure before moving on with it. There have been at least 5 different people I am reading blogs on this about and really getting some mixed answers. So I just say to be cautious and find out for sure first.

I promised Gail that I would buy socks from her through Amazon if she needed me to! Of course if it is permitted as well!
I can manage two pairs of socks a year!
