You can post about accomplishments in your niche and ongoing endeavors. Be careful crossing the line on monetized promotion however!

Hello Carol, if you can imagine, all the members posting about there niche here. None of us would have time to work on our own websites. So it is frowned up on to post anything about your niche here to attract visitors. What you can do is under your profile create an area called "follow me on," and under there add the url for your site. You can then ask people to check out your site by referring them there.

You can always use You Tube, and check places out on the internet in order to view the places and write about them, before you get to actually go to them.
