It's Going to Be a Great Year!

I'm a little late to the party, but HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone here in WA! I've been a little quiet over the holidays on here. We ended up going to look at houses in the new area we're moving to, found one and our moving date has been moved up by 1.5 months! Panic started setting in, but I pushed it aside and got busy, busy, busy packing up the house. I got a lot done all by myself and it feels good to have tackled so much.

Today I start homeschooling my girls, but they hadn't been fully set up on the system yet, so we have a bit of extra time this morning. So I figured, why not jump on here and blog! I'm recovering from a horrible cold and lost my voice, so homeschooling could be extra interesting this week :). Wish me luck!

What are some of your goals for this new year and start of a new decade? I choose not to make resolutions as those most people don't keep. But, making realistic goals is satisfiying when you can look back and say you did it. I want to keep going here on WA and keep working on my blog. I want to read more books this year. My husband and I both have a collection of good books I'd like to get through.

I did one of those Facebook games that gives you a word for the year. Mine was SUCCESS. I know those are just silly things we do for fun, but I choose to take and believe it. That with continued dedication, I will start seeing it pay off later this year.

Whatever your hopes and dreams are for this year, I wish you all the success in the world! We can do this. Let's make this year amazing!
