Feeling A Bit Disheartened!

Today I write with a heavy heart. I have grown accustomed to running into problems and having setback on this journey.

However, I am currently facing an enemy from within. I am unsure as to how to process this new realization.

When we run into issues, we generally research the system for answers on how to correct them.

Unfortunately, at times we encounter opposition to our progress that extend beyond our control.

Therefore, it becomes necessary to employ outside help in hopes of overcoming our dilemmas.

In the mean time, what do we lose?

For the past few weeks, I have been experiencing some serious lag times when using my WA Dashboard and all of my websites while in my back office.

Every action that I take is followed by a system delay. This delay was sometimes 15 - 20 seconds per.

However, lately those delays have grown to as much as a minute. It has taken me three days to transfer a 3K word post which includes adding my photos.

Last I checked, my ‘Preview Snippet Editor’ has been frozen for the past ten minutes. After refreshing the page, I lost the content and must re-enter it.

How dreadful?

Can you imagine how this hampers progress? What generally take you 6 - 10 hours to build a post, but now it take three days.

Needless to say, I am truly disappointed that my WA services are running so poorly, as if I am using dial-up internet services.

This is slightly beyond slow to me.

Harm should not be a consideration if I am eventually able to complete the tasks at hand.

Wrong!

I am afraid that there are a multitude of negative consequences that accompanies these delays.

Loosing your chain of thoughts hampers motivation. In addition, it limits one’s creativity.

When progress is at a still still, you lose the inspiration to continue. Filling your mind with distasteful thoughts.

At what point do you begin to give up? The willingness to endure is fading ever so slowly.

I am not a happy camper at this present time. Reluctantly, I continue to believe that things will get better.

Nevertheless, I am not holding my breath. It sounds as if I do not have faith in the team to fix the problem.

Oh, but I do believe that a solution will be found. The question is ‘how much ground will I have lost in the mean time?’

It is not easy to stop in the middle of a process and start another. Your mind can find it difficult to switch tasks in mid-stream.

When you inject new thoughts while in the mindless of a previous thought, you tend to lose focus on the previous tasks.

You must loose time as you wait to be re-inspired by that original motivation. There could by an hour, day or week to pass before regaining a thread.

Interestingly, the new thread will be lacking compared to the first pass as you may not be able to feel the passion you felt.

The show must go on though. Forcibly transferring the mind to another task seems easy to accomplish.

But it really is not that simple. Strikingly, there is discomfort in leaving a task undone.

The words fade as they flow through your mind. It is worst than procrastinating. At least then you are responsible for your lack of achievement.

My with all of my baldness is figuratively pulling my hair out!

I have left it up to the pros to resolve my problems. But I shall not get overly excited.

I clearly explained to SiteSupport the issue that I am having. They ran a site speed test, really?

Their response was that the site was loading fine, 92 score. That is great, but that was not the problem as described.

They create a test post and quickly told me again that all was good from what they could see.

Completely disappointed, I did a screen recording of me working in my back office.

It clearly demonstrated my dilemma in action. However, I did learn something new.

I am not really a fan of DropBox. Why? I am one of those people that are sometimes resistant to change.

But this situation pushed me to try it. No Google Drive this go around. Call my ‘anal’, I know.

Simple to setup and use, I am no longer afraid of the DropBox monster. It did not chase me through a pitch dark marsh and feast on my mind.

I am still alive! So very much so that I will endeavor to persevere.

My solution was to begin by writing this post to repoint my mind in a direction that would not hold back my progress.

Opening myself up to creating new content for another post. Something new, something fresh that I can wrap my mind around.

Although it will not be easy, it will be fulfilling. Hopefully, they will get me straight soon, I pray.

I am off to the races!

It is sometimes quite easy to be disappointed with situations beyond our control. Depending on someone else does not come with the same vigor.

Rarely do we want to release the reins to another. It is like losing control out of necessity.

No lone values you time, motivation, and creative juices the way you do. I t stands to reason why you refuse to willingly submit.ere

Nevertheless, if it is beyond you then it is beyond you. There is nothing left to do but wait and hope.

Hope that you can pick up were you lost control. Pick up where the thoughts first began to fade.

Banging your head against the wall knowing that it is not your fault. Yet, I feels as if it is.

Escaping disappointment is not as easy as we pretend. The battle takes a lot out of you as it drains your reasoning.

Multitasking does not work in this fashion. You lose what you lose and it is hard to recover that which flees you mind.

Outlines work great for directions, but they fail miserably when you are in the middle of your creative joust.

Although I am venting, I will not give up. This is my future we are talking about and the show must go on.

And I close out by saying, we need what we need!

If we keep our minds right, we can keep our bodies tight!
