This is big industry news last week. Zuckerber was in Nigeria to encourage younger talented developers coming from this part of the world.

I patiently waited to see if news like this can filter into this community but didn’t see it. Nigerians should not only be profiled when phishing mails and 419 scams are discussed.
A lot of Nigerian are hardworking people and do legitimate business. Zuckerber invested $ 34 Million in a tech company, Andela, operating in Nigeria.
In his remarks, Zuckerberg said he was impressed by the interest, energy and entrepreneurial spirit displayed by young Nigerians in all the ICT camps that he had visited.
“I was highly impressed by the talent of the youths in the Co-creation Hub in Yaba. I was blown away by their talent and the level of energy that I saw,’’ he said.
I am happy with Mark identifying with talents in this part of the world and we encourage everybody including members of this great community to work with hardworking brothers and sisters anywhere in the world. Good people abound everywhere in the world
