GORGEOUS 1963 Plymouth Valiant
This just goes against the rule. The Plymouth valiant is and was just an ugly little car. If you had to walk 20 miles through the snow butt naked you would before being caught alive in one of these cars. Okay, not a lot of snow out this way but you get my drift, it is in no way cool to be in this car.
It takes years to get rid of the bad reputation, the heckling and just pure shame of riding in this car, yet along owning one.
Great great great Grandma thought the darn thing was awesome, only had 6 cylinders so it save fuel. Ya right, 11.5 MPG is nothing to brag about. My 454 GMC Suburban does that if I keep it at Grandma speed. Goes down to 8 after that but sure is fun and life my friends is meant to be fun. But then Great great great Grandma had to wait for someone to saddle the pissed off horse that in no way wanted to go to town. That ugly little car just needed a key and she was gone like the wind. Cool now to eat all her cookies before she got back.
So why would anyone even think of fixing one of these things up, heck scrape it and buy a couple of beers for goodness sake.
However I must say, even though this is a 1963 Valiant made my Chrysler Motor Division and in the day was meant to be economical, this version here is not much of a 6 cylinder, add two more and increase the horse power by about 2450 ponies.
This is one wild and crazy ride and heck ya, I will ride in it. It is covered in Henry Fords favorite color from back in the day. How did he say that, you can have your car in any color you like, as long as it is black.
If your a gear head with a few minutes this vid will entertain you for sure. For those of you that are not, just check it out. Man this thing idles at the same RPM my 98 Ford Expedition goes down the road at doing 65 MPH. And to get it moving, just let out the clutch, your not going to stall this little kitty.
Of course from the look of all the great custom work on this ride, I would gander to say you could buy two brand new porches, a little cute one for her and one hell of a fast one for you.
Now this blog has nothing to do with what we are learning here at WA other than this. A natural writing style. I hated English in school so all this is self educated stuff here folks.
I can talk about cars and guitars for hours it seems so this was very easy for me to write. I did this with no research of keywords, I still have to get that little bit of internet marketing under my belt and make it more natural to do.
So with that being said, take a 10 minute break and check out this super car that started life as a Granny car with a slant 6 push button auto or three on the tree please kill me car.

Brings back memories. Dad use to trade cars all the time and he took one in trade. I still think that push button transmission was the coolest thing!
The crowd I hung out with used to laugh about that. We had modified shifters on the floor board for darn near every ride we had.
Yes it was not know for status. Dad was always wheeling and dealing cars, but I was a young kid and thought that push button was the neatest thing!
Saw a 65 with a blown 360 for sale many moons ago in Upland California for a mere 25 grand. Was a convertible.
Cali, You could have inserted a photo of the famous car here, check this out http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:'63_Plymouth_Valiant_Signet_(Les_chauds_vendredis_'12).jpg
I could not find the photo of something close and still do not get how I messed up the link. I was at the bottom of the post when I uploaded it and then nada. Oh well. Was fun to write and listen to that baby purr.

Check out this 71 ausi version on the car.
this was probably good, but i am not into cars much, as far as I am concerned they either go or they don't, if they go you have no problem, if they don't scream at someone till it goes, cheers Helen
Back when my 40 year old daughter was turning 16, I towed a 63 push button dodge dart though 2 1/2 foot of snow to rebuild for my kid. I thought it would be safe for her...she thought it was ugly and needed pink poka dots. Cali it had a 318 in it that would kick a**, well I got rid of it and my daughter doesn't drive to this day...go figure.
Monte
I was going to stuff a 383 into a 67 dart, the dart came with the 6 so all the suspension had to be redone. That was one clean dart.
