Upgrade your office with Black Friday!

One of the best times to buy stuff are doing sales like in holidays sales. This month there will be the Black Friday sale.

If you do not know yet WA will have a Black Friday deal which you could avail and best part is you can lock in that price for life.

Generally, WA premium is at $49/month and Premium plus is at $99/month. With Black Friday Premium is $299/year (regular price is $495/year) and Premium plus is at $499/year (regular price is $995/year). In monthly terms for the deal it will be $25 (premium) and $41.60 (premium plus).

Those are some huge savings for operational cost with training.

I am on a yearly premium membership since 2018 and just like it. Some of you could avail of it once you are ready for it.

Aside from WA, other stores will take part in Black Friday sale. Well it is one of the big events when it comes to sales.

I believe it is a good time to also upgrade or update your home office setup.

I like sales in general. Why pay full price if you can get it at a discount? You can use what you save for other purposes or buy more products (hopefully also at discount prices).

If you do miss out on black friday, there are other ways. Buy refurbished items or second hand items. Refurbished items from companies may have warranties, but second hand items may not have them.

In any case, it is a good time to upgrade or update your office.

My Wish list

As for me, I am actually thinking of replacing my 2012 mac mini and 2012 macbook pro with the updated counterparts of a mac mini M1 and the macbook air M1.

I am actually thinking of either getting those during black friday, refurbished from Apple store, or second hand (like in Amazon or Ebay). So we will see.

I do have both windows, android and apple devices at home. But for business stuff and creative stuff I will stick with Apple devices, because they just work for me that way.

I would buy a few rims of bond paper to last me for a couple of years and some printer ink. Well mostly office supplies.

Info on Apple Silicon Chips

Also the Apple silicon chips have been revolutionary. Why? Because as of now those chips have increased performance and power efficiency by a huge leap. Imagine for performance comparable to mid to high end gaming computers you use a fraction of the power.

So how does that look on paper. Mid to high end intel chip gaming computers run at around 300w-500w while the mac mini M1 will run at around 39 watts. What does that mean? Well it means for me I will save on electricity bill.

Oh and the macbook air M1 runs with 30-50 watts. Which also means that the battery can last for around 14 hours without needing to charge.

No need to buy the M1 pro or M1 max chips. Since I am not doing heavy video editing like for 4k or 8k video formats.

The M1 is just right for WA system. Just perfect to run wordpress websites, browsing, social media, and simple youtube videos.
