My First $194!

When I first started my site, I had my doubts. I thought that maybe this wasn't for me. That making my $1 is impossible. But I saw a really inspiring video online that almost made me cry, maybe I'm too emotional and it said that all you have to do is belief in yourself and don't let others bring you down.

So, I kept writing. And in writing, I am a slow poke. The least I take to write a single blog post is about two days, sometimes I can take a week just doing research for a single topic.

And then I made my $1, YAY! and another $1, YAY!, keep coming? Then I received a "WA Super Affiliate" on the title of an e-mail, hmm, me, Super Affiliate? Nah and I made my first $8 and then I made another $8, and then I made my first $174! I hugged and squeezed my ten year old sister, lol.

So, yesterday I logged in to my PayPal account to see $16 waiting for me to withdraw and transfer to my bank account.

Hmm, while this certainly doesn't compare to what others have earned their first year, I'm still proud of myself...proud of never giving up. Sometimes I get $1 or invitations without even working on my site.

This money was the result of persistence, hardwork, sweat and tears.

I have yet to implement video marketing, I got terrified when I did my first video as I have a strong accent and I get so nervous which I think will be more effective than Animoto videos. I certainly will be making more videos and working to add more consistent content on my website and finish up on the last phase of the affiliate boot camp and I'm sure with that, I will grow my earnings.
