Has your website ever been hacked
If it has, maybe you should take a look at this.
Small and simple security plugin that allows you to change url of wp-admin
Want to reduce the possibility of your website been hacked or hijacked?
With this plugin you can change wp-admin and wp-login.php to any of your choice, making it impossible for the hackers to access your administration login page. Instead of http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/
and http://yourdomain.com/wp-login.php
you can have http://yourdomain.com/admin
or http://yourdomain.com/banana
Its simple to use. New field will be added to Settings -> Permalinks section called WP-Admin slug. All you have to do is to write your desired WP Admin slug and save the settings.
I'm using it on my site now.
You can get more info and download it here:

That's useful, thank you, although hopefully I won't need it, but I will bookmark it just in case!
All the best,
Brandon
Just last week, I could not log-in to my other wp site admin, they had all IP's blocked, I could not get in.
A suppoet ticket uncovered that they had done that because someone had been overloading the server with automated log-in attempts trying to guess my password.
Presumably they didn't succeed? Apart from the obvious quality of the training, I think one good thing about WA is the support they provide!
All the best,
Brandon
Thank you very much kind sir! I will surely check this out. I am still early in the website process but hackers are always a concern.
I am also using a plugin WordFence. It works great. And yes, my blogs have been hacked. Now I don't use admin as a login, and I have a "captcha" to login. I will check out the above recommended plugin, thanks for this,
