I Need To Ask A Favor
I just completed a Nostalgia Video of me and my friends from back in the day. It was a labor of love and I know they’re going to enjoy it, but I need to find out if it’s worth watching if you don’t know the people in the video.
The video is a history of the gang I was in as a kid, “the JOKERS” in Brooklyn, NY.
We’re coming up on our 52nd Anniversary (Nov. 16th) and I did my best to pack as much as I could in the video.
I’ve got 100 Views, but not one Comment on YouTube
That’s where the favor comes in from you.
Can you please take a few minutes, watch the video and tell me what you think. If it doesn’t hold your attention can you please tell me where I lost you?

Hi Phil, great stuff, brings back a lot of memories of my "misspent youth", unfortunately most of my Jokers have passed on or are scattered worldwide, but I still keep in touch with one or two, particularly a couple of old army buddies who haven't "popped their clogs" yet.
BTW, have you reached your target weight yet?
Hey Brian, I feel very fortunate to still be in touch with so many of my friends after so many years.
I didn't reach my ideal weight this year. I lost 38 lbs and I came within 12 lbs . I want to start the New Year 30 lbs lighter than I did in 2015 that will put me within 20 lbs of ideal.
Astounding Phil just loved it and all those memories, left a comment just a bit before my time but loved the music brought back some memories for me to thanks for sharing this.. you have done a wonderful job
I like it, Phil. The music brought back really good memories of my yester-years. But when it gets to "today" --- I think that's just for you and your friends.

Somebody mentioned to me a while back that my niche should be about me and the whole Brooklyn experience. I couldn't figure out how to have enough content, that's still true.

Enough content? Are you kidding? That's amazing, Phil! I'm guessing you're too close to it and that's why you can't see the forest for the trees.
You've got tons and tons of content ... just the video alone would give you dozens and dozens of blogs.
People like real life stories ... that's why reality TV does so well.
So seriously, please give it some more thought. You and your friends have stories to tell...
There is a link in your post, but for some reason it didn't work. Most people who were not a part of your group would feel detached from everything. It seams for not if your own won't watch and like, it seems that is where you would get the most pleasure.

My concern was that the video wouldn't hold the interest of somebody that wasn't in the group.

Sorry Phil, I don't have a video. I was born in Bayonne NJ, I lived in Coney Island on Surf Ave a block away from Nathan's for 3 years back in the 70's.

I wanted to thank everyone that took the time to look at my video and to leave a comment here.
It's been one week since I posted "the JOKERS" video. I've heard from everybody that was at the Oct. 18th reunion, everybody enjoyed the video. Although several guys can't Like or leave a Comment there (they haven't registered with YouTube).
The video has had 380 Views (not exactly gone viral, but that's a lot). We've had 17 Likes and 1 Dislike. Now, either somebody hit the wrong button or somebody doesn't like this video. Since they didn't post here to explain their Dislike, I'm just going to ignore it. But, I do have my suspicions.
Somebody doesn't understand the JOKERS Code.
