Getting Back To A Routine With A Daily Method of Operation (DMO)
Wow, this past 7 days or so I've felt like crud...
Totally took me off of my game while spending time in bed and on cold medicine.
Love the season of upper respiratory junk... It's a hazard of my career as a firefighter.
Now, I'm focusing on how to get back on track...
What Do You Do To Get Back On Track? That's right... Daily Method of Operation!
For me I have to focus on a written plan with alotments for every hour I have available on my schedule...
For Example:
9:00 - 9:30 -- Answer My Emails
9:30 - 10:00 -- Keyword Research
10:00 - 11:00 -- Content Research
11:00 - 11:15 -- Break
11:15 - 1:15 -- Content Development
1:15 - 2:00 Lunch and Break
2:00 - 3:20 Clean up content, make graphics and submit
For me this helps me get focused...
If I'm not completely done with emails by 9:30 for example, it doesn't matter. I stop and move on to the next thing on my schedule.
I hope this has helped you to find your focus!
Daily Method of Operations (DMO) are a great tool to help you stay on track!

Doing that on a schedule is hard for me to do. I have to be in the mood to be creative and that you have to be or your content will not be as good as it could be. I am retired and have no schedule so I work on my post when I get inspiration to me, that is what works for me. I wish I was more like you, but I have tried to do it like you do. I just get stressed out and I get my work accomplished but it maybe at 4AM. Just my thoughts on how I get the most accomplished. Please like my comments, thanks Sruffey.
@Sruffey I get it!! For me, I am on a time schedule. I'm eligible to retire from the Fire Department in about 2 years and 8 months or so.
My pension alone will not be enough for my wife and me to live in the lifestyle we are accustom to. Therefore, I am working diligently to get valuable content out at least 3 times per week around my 24-hour shifts at the firehouse.
I figure I can sacrifice some of my comfort and time for the next 24 months to build my virtual real estate and residual income online. And afford me the opportunity to retire as early as possible.
