First Thousand to God!!!!
I'm a procrastinator at heart (procrastinator being a polite word for being lazy. And/or nervous).
I've been playing around with WA for a couple months. Love the idea and concept, but afraid to take the big plunge. What if my niche ideas are terrible and nobody wants to read them? What if I put six months of effort and work in and don't even make a quarter! So I've been putting off going premium.
I finally decided to take the plunge. And so I don't be laz....I mean, so I don't procrastinate over the next year, I decided to tithe my first $1,000 to my church. Why? I remember reading a few years back that adding a financial partner tends to make people work harder. When somebody else's money is on the line, typically you will work harder and smarter, to make sure your partner gets their money. You also don't want to fail because you know you'll be failing for the other person as well. Having a partner keeps you accountable. You might want to take a day off, but is that fair to your partner?
I didn't have a product to sale or a business plan to try and sell to somebody to convince them to partner up with me. So the obvious choice was my church.
I want to work hard and make my niche sites take off, so I can make money to help support my family. But before I can pocket anything into our personal bank account......I have to get that first thousand paid off. Which is making me work even harder than if I didn't have that goal. The goal of having to make $1,000 before I see any profit for myself.

I love this because as I said in one of my post our real purpose on this earth is to help people, and not only help them but show them the way. I did not do this but I had similar problem being a Christian and also being healed completely of leukemia in the 3rd grade through our churches prayers. I felt that I should put a page about the salvation of Jesus on my website. I wrestled with it for about a week and decided to go for it. Because if it had not been for him to give me a brain to comprehend the knowledge on WA , then I would not have been blessed to be at WA at all. I even believe that God sent me to WA because I was getting scammed so much. I needed the right guidance and he knew it, so he led me here to WA big thanks to Kyle & Carlson and every one who helped me. You are doing the right thing when you tithe because the first fruits are a commandment in his word.. Wow! What an awesome thought and that's because we serve a AWESOME GOD! Isn't it funny how He has a way of getting us to move even when we don't want to or just don't feel like it. If I wore a hat, it would be off to you! I'm praying that you achieve much success, then you'll have to up your seed of faith! Now ain't that good news!

If making this commitment, is getting you motivated then I think that is great. We all have different ways to get us motivated. I like to have a relatively lazy day or days from time to time, but I have other items on my mind that do genuinely, take up my time. Being a single mum and keeping a home and yard "fixed" up, etc is no easy feat. Congrats on signing up for the next year. I look forward to reading more of your blogs>
