There really is no easy way to completely get rid of the smell. You have to wash it away!

1: Start with having your carpets cleaned you can also rent a carpet cleaner to save on the cost a little.2: While you have the carpet cleaner use the upholstery attachment and clean any furniture that is not leather.(There are special cleaners for leather that won’t cause any damage)3: Take down all fabric window treatments and either wash them or take then to the cleaners.4: Wash your walls down with a gentle cleaner that has a vinegar base.(Vinegar works rather well when eliminating any odor however, you may need to go back over to rid the area of the vinegar smell)After you completely eliminate the smell of smoke then it’s safe to fill your home with your favorite smell.
