Every since the loved “Bucket List” movie, more people have began to create their own bucket list so why not have one for each season?

Here are a few summer bucket list items you may want to consider.

• Dye your hair a fun color. With the vivid color craze right now, why not embrace your inner child and go for that bright pink or mermaid blue?

• Visit Disneyland, it doesn’t matter how old you are if you haven’t been, go!

• Find the scariest ride at a local theme park and jump aboard! You may feel like that ride very well may end your life while you’re on it but man, what a fun story you’ll be able to share.

• Play “Paint Twister” a new twist on a favorite classic.

• Kiss a rain drop. It sounds silly but it brings out your inner child and makes you laugh, it’s also a great way to include your children or significant other.

• Watch fireworks by a body of water.

• Have a cookout with a new group of people.

• Learn a new swim trick or learn how to swim.

• Take a long bike ride on a forgotten path.

• Take a day to visit restaurants, coffee shops, or ice cream shops you normally ignore.

• Skydive

• Take a music class

• Lay in the yard and make pictures out of clouds, count stars, or have a camping night.

There are endless things to think and come up with!

While you put together your own “bucket list” come up with things that are out of the norm for you, find things that make you feel like a kid again and create stories that you will be proud to tell and that make your kids and grandkids smile and say “you did that?” you’ll be surprised how much creativity you can provoke in young minds when you learn to let go and enjoy the silly and little things in life.
