WA When I Can't Sleep

It is after 2 a.m. What am I doing up? I sometimes get my brain going too fast and it outruns my body. Then I am laying there and I just have to get out of bed and try to catch up with my mind. WA helps. There is truly a "Wealth" of information and encouragement and sharing...there is also more stimulation. You, my "WA Friends" are some good writers. I enjoy what I read, and I enjoy the fact that there are people like you out there sharing what you know (and feel and think and remember and do). Practically everything I read is a gift.

So...I am going to try to take it (the gifts from being here for an hour or so) back to bed and get some sleep.

Dream on...

Bob

I like this advice. I will use it tonite - posted it on my computer for when I return...

For me it is exactly the contrary.
I can't sleep when WA.
But the effect is the same, I enjoy the gift of this space.
So, good morning !

This phenomenon seems to be abound especially this time of the year. you are right that it came from your mind which sometimes don't want to leave you alone but keep on making unnecessary noises.

I always talk to him asking the reason for all this noise then meditate with a long breathe and slowly exhale concentration on my breath for 5 minutes.

Yeah...that happened to me quite a few times during my beginning stages. It seemed my mind was going a mile a minute, too!

Now, I've given myself a "curfew" and if I find that I am unable to sleep, I try to find something else to do that doesn't involve anything with electronics.
