For All Newbies...best way to get your questions answered!
I consider myself a newbie here. It has been almost 3 months since I joined WA. I knew absolutely nothing about internet marketing, building a website, writing blogs, etc before I joined. It's amazing what I have learned in just a few short months here.
The one thing that has always kept me on track was going through the course lessons one at a time. I am a person who likes things structured. So, the step by step training that Kyle has put together in the courses are perfect!
Best way to get your questions answered:
When I did not understand something, or wanted to improve on certain things that I learned throughout the training, I just jumped into the LIVE CHAT and asked my questions. I found this to be the easiest, best, and quickest way to get my questions answered. There are a lot of "web pros," including Kyle and Carson who are always in the chat rooms throughout the day, someone is always there to help!
By doing this, I have learned a lot. In return, I try and help answer others questions as best as I could as well. Also, if you don't have a question, jump into the LIVE CHAT anyway and see what others are asking. Chances are you will learn something everyday. I know I have.
MY POINT:
Sorry for rambling on, but this brings me to my point: I have noticed a lot of duplicate basic questions being posted here lately. Questions that can easily be answered by being patient and follow through with the course lessons - sooner or later, you'll get there.
For example:
"How do I transfer my domain over?" - Course 2, Lesson 1
"How do I create a link to take me to another page" - Course 2, Lesson 6
I understand some people get into this wanting to know how to do everything all at once. Just stick to the training and be patient. If you do have to ask a question, go to the live chat and get them answered immediately.
Hope this helps!

Good advice. But some people are on a schedule where the chat rooms are less occupied and this forum will work for them rather quickly also.
I have not done live chat since being here but it makes sense, must try it when I have the computer for longer.
I totally agree. I just learned that a few days ago. Sometimes, our minds get a little ahead of the course and lesson we're on. I went to live chat and got my questions answered. I was frustrated before the chat and then I got relieved. Great blog!
Jimmy, I totally agree. I had no idea how I was going to do this and I have learned so much in just 4 weeks. I still have a long way to go, but if I just follow the courses one by one it makes a big difference, and if I don't understand I just keep going over and over the course until I do.
One thing that has helped me is following Kyle step by step on my page, while listening to the course.

Thanks for the advice, Jimmy. I haven't been on live chat but I do believe one can learn something from it - I just wish my eyes could stay glued to the influx of rapid messages, lol
