Week 3 for Me: Onward and Upward!
Hey, just a little post to share my first 3 weeks at Wealthy Affiliate and where I'm going...
I signed up for Premium, bought two domains, and built two websites:
- Be Happy - Work at Home (behappyworkathome.com)
- Top Thriller Novels (topthrillernovels.com)
Both of my sites have been indexed by Google.
I wrote 5 articles and 1 product review (on WA) and published them to my sites.
I have 2 referrals signed up for WA Starter membership.
I'm just now completing the 2nd section of the Online Entrepreneurial Course, and am partway through the 2nd section of the Affiliate Bootcamp. And I can't believe how much I've learned already!
I've attended 3 Live Training sessions with magical Jay (what a fabulous teacher!). After the session on setting up Google Analytics, I set that up on both of my sites by following Jay's instructions, which made it easy peasy.
I've interacted with many wonderful people in the WA community, and there are now 176 people in my network. Cool!
For the next several weeks, I'm planning to:
- Keep on keepin' on with the OEC training
- Write 2-3 articles per week for my Top Thriller Novels site
- Sign up as an Amazon affiliate and add affiliate links to my content
- Keep hanging out with the WA community
Thank you all for being so kind and caring and super-helpful. I'm thrilled to the gills to be sharing the WA adventure with you!

Keep it up. Just make sure you can stay consistent with your writing. This is why I always recommend that people just start with one site. There is this misconception you need to create two sites. But you don't. Most people should just focus on one. Master that one. Once you're consistently writing and getting traffic for that site, then consider a second. Because most newbies can't handle writing consistently for both. Furthermore there are a lot of mistakes you make on your first site that you'll want to avoid on other sites. So keep that in mind. If I were you I would focus on the niche site you feel more connected to and can write about consistently. Then revisit the second site maybe months or a year later.

You are off to a good start. I wish you the best as you grow your sites.
Thanks so much, Ahimbe! Greatly appreciated.
