Last week I watched an interesting video on youtube.
Some of the people I follow online are making decent money from blogging and that is a fact.
One of them has been blogging for a while and they recently quoted a little known metric that on further investigation actually is very true and extremely easy to replicate.
They explain that you can build your website with good content that is relevant to your niche and as long as you keep on writing and publishing on a regular basis and never get downhearted and you stick to your plan ( Jay's posting model is perfect) then you will succeed.
The metric they quote is a very interesting one. 1 Million words on your website will equate to an annual income via ad revenue, affiliate offers, your own products or any other income streams.

Well it varies, but on average it is somewhere between $40,000 to $70,000 per annum per 1 million words.
Sounds a lot right?
Well, not really.
If each one of your articles is just 1500 words then that is around 666 articles.
You can easily look at getting 125 to 175 articles a year onto your site if you put the effort in.
