My Progress on WA After 2 Weeks

Hello everyone,

My name is Phil, also known as Bearcat Phil here in the WA community. I'm still relatively new to WA but am having a blast creating my first Website. I'm finding the training to be comprehensive and easy to navigate. Typically a program like this is information overload, but step-by-step structure of the course training makes it pretty easy.

With some experience in digital marketing, I still have a host of questions, but also feel like I have insight to share in which I am more than too.

So far I am getting ready to start the 3rd course and have 2 posts to my website. I've installed the Yoast SEO widget, which is a Red-Yellow-Green content management tool. It tracks the readability of your posts, keyword density, and SEO rating, to name a few. If there isn't a Blog posted for this yet, I will be posting one in the near future. Otherwise, I will just post to an existing blog.

I'm excited that my niche is cigars, something I am passionate about and always wanted to create a website for. My site is http://cigardealfinders.com which serves as sort of an aggregate site for online cigar affiliates. They are always posting great deals on cigars, humidors, and other accessories, and my site will serve as a one-stop source to save people time, and hundreds of dollars when shopping online.

So far, I am proud that my site has become a reality and has been indexed by Google. I'm also proud of the positive feedback that I have received from WA members, validating my niche and my goals.

My 3 month goal is to generate a minimum of $1,000 revenue for this site alone. To achieve this I am following WA tips for driving traffic and rankings. I will also run a Facebook advertising campaign the first 2 months once I have my affiliates up. After that, I plan to see how my traffic is coming into the site, and then consider running a Google Paid Search campaign.

There are also a host of free online advertising avenues that I will also be blogging about.

Also, my 3 month goal is to have my second site up and running generating $2,000- $3000 monthly revenue. I'm still deciding which niche to employ next. In 6 months I hope to have 5 sites live, and generating a minimum of $5,000 per month.

I have a lot of work ahead of me, but am up for the task. I'm looking forward to see my ranking plummet, as I smash my goals.
