What Did You "Ship" in 2015?

As we close out 2015 it’s a good time to review the past year and what you are planning for 2016. Here are some recommendations:

* If you journal, or blog here at WA, review your entries for 2015. Read through them all. Pay attention to all the fun you had and the things you enjoyed. Take note of any commitments you made this year but haven't kept. Get those cleared up so they don’t hold you back. Get a sense of how you spent your time relative to your priorities, and take note of any good or bad habits you might have developed over the past year.

* Review your contacts to remind yourself of the people you've met this year, especially here at WA. Make a list of any new contacts that you haven't followed up with yet or old contacts you need to refresh. Take note of those who helped you succeed this year, especially here at WA. Now would be a good time to thank them for their help.

* Look back on your goals for 2015. Take note of your accomplishments and what you didn’t get done. If you have some goals that didn’t get accomplished but are still important to you, refresh them and plan to get them done in 2016. Ask yourself what you'd most like to accomplish in 2016.

My review of 2015 reminded me of trips to Washington DC and Boston to visit grown children, helping with my parents care and my wife’s new physical therapy practice, walking at least 5 miles each day (thanks, Fitbit), writing a dozen book summaries for my book club, purchasing a new car, and, of course, joining WA :-)
