Be Careful Of The Glitz And Glamour
Since joining the WA community, have you found yourself in a similar situation as this...You have finally gotten a hold on things. You feel like you are on a roll. Things are falling into place. You had fallen off a bit but now, things appear to be back on track. You are really feeling good about your place in the WA community.
Then A Strange Phenomenon Begins To Occur!
Then it happens. You don't pay attention or even make the connection. But, you're checking your email and you come upon one that is an invitation to apply for a position in your trained field. Further down, you see another invitation. This time the position actually includes a lucrative starting salary and benefits package. Then you notice a missed call with voice mail attached. It's a headhunter who came across your resume online and wants to talk to you about a position. You suddenly notice at your daily grind
that your boss is starting to train you in areas of the business that you weren't familiar with previously. Is he setting you up for a possible promotion? Hmmm!
Don't Be Swayed By The Glitz And Glamour
I know full well that the job prospects can look enticing. I know that it can be easy to fall victim to the Gnat of Temptation, especially when just a short time ago things may not have been going the way the you anticipated. Fall back to the goals that you initially made when you answered Kyle's question. The Glitz and Glam can look really good.
Stick to your guns. It may get difficult from time to time but, stay the course. See it to the end.
Don't Be Swayed!

True when you building a business here at WA, its easy to get distracted, especially when 6 or 9 months had surpassed and you have no results yet.
I find it hard too and its tough to NOT give in to temptation, but I believe it will be worth it one day...
That is darn good advice. Take that job and guess what. You will be making your boss rich all over again. This is YOUR time. Time for YOU to be boss, boss of your own destiny. Do not give up your dream.
I have it happen several times a day, and I simply say I have started my own business and that usually ends the conversation.
Excellent advice.
I will still sometimes fall for other things and distractions, but it pays to focus and stick to what your goals are.

Great advice! Those shiny objects are always very tempting, but good old fashioned dedication and hard work are always what works best. And patience.....lots and lots of patience :-)
