Wow! We have four months left to welcome 2022 on the watch of the Gregorian calendar. The New Year is rapidly approaching and like other times of the year, people often find themselves being tempted to talk about resolutions, goals and plans.

But often, as we begin this process, we find that there is so much more that we want to address than there is time for. So, it is best to begin by getting clear about what we want to accomplish this year, then narrow it down to the most important things.

1. Do you know what you want?

When you know what you want, you can focus on it to make it happen. You won't waste time on things that are unnecessary or that are not important to you.

2. Are you clear about your expectations?

Are you sure you understand what you expect from the year? Things can change at any time and you need to be able to adjust your expectations to stay relevant.

3. Are you clear about your resources?

There are so many things we need to do with our own time and money that you don't need to keep track. Set a daily spending goal and a budget to manage your money.

4. Do you have a plan? What is your plan?

When you make a plan, you can better focus your efforts. You can view your plan as a blueprint and design your week around it. You can view your plan as a menu and work your way through it.

The process of narrowing down your objectives can also be very inspiring. Think of all the things you want to accomplish that you haven't done yet. When you know what you want, you are more able to make plans that are realistic and achievable. You can better identify what you need to do to make progress. You can easily see what you need to buy to move forward. And you can get clear about what's worth spending your own money on and what's not.

Note;

When you are clear about your actions, you can make better decisions. You can take actions based on data you have, not on gut feelings. Gut feelings is great and at the same time can lead you into danger.

With the facts about your goal firmly established, you can make decisions based on what you know and what you don't. This results in better decisions, better outcomes and better results.

Thank You.
