My Fathers Day and Family

How was your Fathers Day?

This fathers day was one of the best so far. I got a chance to see both of my kids for a good part of the day. I also got the chance to swing by and see my dad. I wish i got to see my parents more. They only live about an hour away from me but for some reason the drive feels like at least double that now that i have been taking the same rout for about a year. I got and gave many wonderful gifts but the best part about the day was getting to see my dad.

Im pretty sure everyone has that one person in their life that is and always has been there when you need them most. In any situation, even if you probably don't deserve their support. The respect I have for the man that raised me and made me who i am today is immeasurable. All I have ever wanted in my life is to be there for him as much as he was for me, and of course to make him proud. And i hope in some small way that this Blog is possibly a stepping stone to making that hope a reality. In time we will see.

My Beautiful Wife

My father is amazing and im sure i could write about him all day, but i doubt anyone would read it. So lets talk about my wife Bree!She also supports me more than she probably should. The difference is my dad signed up for 18 years. He can stop supporting me at any time. She signed up for a lifetime membership (without reading the fine print) and shes just getting started. Joking aside she is an amazing woman and im glad i got to spend time with her and her dad on Fathers day. Her father is also an amazing insperational man. He has recently been through alot medicly and the way he puts on a strong face and goes to work to feed and support his family dispite the pain he is going through. Thats exactly how we should all want to be. These are the things that make men great. Bree and i were greatful to be able to spend atleast part of the day with him.

My Amazing Kids

My children are what really made my day special yesterday. I got some pretty amazing crafts from both of them and they are currently on display on my desk at work. Donnie (oldest) is getting too big too quickly. I love seeing her play and interact with Reighna (youngest), who is talking more and more every day. When i think about how quickly she is learning not only words but also her colors, shapes, numbers, and letters it truly is mind boggeling. Just having the whole family with me on Fathers Day is the best gift i could have ever asked for. Altho I did also get a wrench with a light on it for easy lighting while working, and a decorative miniture wooden chess set. Yep..all in all i would say it was pretty perfect.
