Today is National Battery Day, commemorating the birth of Italian pioneering physicist Alessandro Volta born on 18 February 1745 and inventor of batteries. People have been getting a charge out of the Alessandro Volta invention for centuries ever since. Clearly this is one the the major inventions of the 19th century so charge up now or at least get a charge out of one of the most used inventions still used today! Carica, tutti!
