Site Security Revisited!
Hi everyone. I would like to revisit a topic which was brought up the other day. We all need to protect our websites.
I have been maintaining my Wordpress site for the best part of 15 years and yes hackers will look for the slightest slip in security, to mess with your site. One of the basic things is to change your admin login, that's the first!
If they can get to your login page they will use the lost password link, this will allow them to make a password, gain access and then lock you out!

They can be quite resourceful!
I have found the easiest thing to do is install (WPS Hide Login)
This allows you to make your login whatever you want it to be, no hacker can then gain access to your login page and your lost password link is safe!
Now for those who are a little more savvy you can install a small piece of code into your theme php file, that will remove the link but I would only advise this approach if you know what you're doing!
Getting it wrong will cause problems with your theme and website. Be careful!
