How I Stayed Motivated With Zero Traffic for a Month

For the first month, nothing happened. No visitors, no clicks, nothing to show for the work I was putting in.

It's easy to feel like we're doing something wrong when that happens, so here's what actually helped me keep going.

1. I stopped checking my stats every dayChecking traffic every single day when there's nothing there just makes you feel worse. I stopped checking often. Less checking, less discouragement.

4. I kept building instead of waitingSome days I wanted to just wait and see what would happen. But waiting doesn't move things forward; building does. So I kept adding content and features, even without proof yet that it was working.

5. I looked back at how far I'd come, not just where I wanted to beWhen I compared myself to where I started, even with zero traffic, I could see real progress. That helped more than staring at a traffic number stuck at zero.

Looking back now, that first quiet month wasn't wasted time. It was just the part nobody sees before things start moving.
