Confessions of a scam victim...

Why did I spend $8000 for a FBA scam - well to be honest I was greedy and got fooled by a cool operator. Yes Kevin David was the ultimate GURU among gurus who was completely able to fool me with his boyish charm. What I failed to do?

Well I did not thoroughly dissect the business plan before investing. By the time I realized it was a scam it was too late and Kevin had fled with my money.

Amazon FBA has been designed to make Jeff Bezos rich and not you - so stay away its an Amazon make Bezos rich scam.

At it really hurt. It hurt more when I remembered the guy who joined hoping to make enough money to pay for his wife's cancer treatment.

So you might thing that I learnt from this scam and I didn't fall for any other scams sadly this is not true as I again fell victim to another big scam $3497.

What is really different about me is that I am a CPA and MBA - but still fell victim to these scam - so the lesson that you should learn is always do your homework.

If your looking for a happy ending then yes I am now a member of "Wealthy Affiliate" and slowly but surely working toward slow but ultimate internet success.

You asked what happened to Kevin David- when so many people complained about him the FTC (the Federal Trade Commission) investigated him and find him a whopping USD 53Mn for repeated violating FTC warnings. But later they reduced it to USD 2.6Mn because he appealed that he did not have any money.

So moral of my story is always do your due diligence and don't trust any gurus.
