Juggling Life
Hi Ya'll, Amanda again! Do you ever find yourself feeling like you have some much to do and so little time. Well that has been me today. My day started out overwhelming. To start from the beginning, my husband and I just recently had our 3rd little boy! The joys of children. Well today was my day to start back to work at my full-time job. Dreading it for the last week, I woke up late, because we had a storm last night, and then it seemed like I was running behind all day.
I was able to take my little one to work with me for half a day and my wonderful mother made the drive to come watch him. He is already a momma's boy :) My mom knows I am the backbone of my family (as in sisters and brother) and she informed me that they think my Dad had a TIA who is the strongest backbone of our family. Now, I had worked in the medical field taking care of patients for over 10 years and then working as a transcriptionist for 5 so she knew I would understand all of this. I was and I am concerned. Reality check, no day is ever guaranteed and cherish every moment we have.
Well I couldn't find my phone this morning and my sisters were a mess, my brother is the quiet type but he even called me leaving a message. They are all very concerned so me being the Big sister, I had to broaden my shoulders and comfort them even though I felt out of sorts all day.
My husband kept saying "Babe it is a sign you are supposed to be a stay-at-home mom. Your family needs you!" Now this tugged at my heart. I have been juggling the idea and it is a scary thing to just up and quit a job that has been security for your family, while we are building our ranch to pass down through generations.
I am also a busy mom that had parent-teacher conferences and my son's football practice all within minutes apart and I felt like the juggling was going to crash hard. My mind kind of wandered as I started thinking about my website and my help I have had here at the community and it again lit a fire underneath me this evening.
I know what I do effects everyone around me and that is why I am still up working on my site because my family does need me! I have a wonderful friend, Betty, who has always told me to go to the Lord's Word when in need and this is what I found this evening.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
After seeing this, I felt a peace. My sisters were calm, my babies are sleeping, my husband is resting his head, and I have the quietness to reflect on my day and realize I am still so very blessed to have what I have to JUGGLE in his life.
I am also so excited that I found a new stress-reliever in the fact I can blog this and maybe somebody out there needs it to. I believe I found WA for a reason and finally started my website which is coming along to achieve where I am supposed to be. I sent the verse to my sisters and we believe we are all going to be okay.
So may you hearts be at ease with whatever you are juggling in life and keep your head held high as we all have our struggles, but can get through them, and are only in control of our own actions.
Blessings to you all,
Amanda

You certainly are a very busy lady Amanda; however, the silver lining that is already showing around that particular cloud, is that you will soon be able to do as your husband suggested, when he said to you "Babe it is a sign you are supposed to be a stay-at-home mom. Your family needs you!" Go for it Amanda! Live long and prosper.
Thanks for the blessing, Amanda! I know what it's like being the strong one. Make sure you have someone to lean on, too.
Thanks Carla! I have a wonderful family and great friends that are always there, sometimes it is hard to step back and realize you need their help just as much as they need yours :) I hope you have a beautiful day! Thank you for your kind words!
Does make me think of my years, the children young, bring them to school and sportevents, having a farm and a daytime job, I do understand your juggling with time, attention and not strumbling over your own feet, please take good care of yourself, the world doesnot collapse when you take a day off, scedule in some quality time for yourself, (now I become a little philosophical) at first you have to love and give yourself everything needed, cause what you do not have, you can't give away, take care, Loes
Ahhh you made me tear this morning :) It is glad to know that people have been in my situation with the busy life of motherhood, wife-hood, sisterhood, and much more! The crazy thing is I feel I this has been my scheduled quality time, because I have found I enjoy creating this business. I will be able to share my passion with others and on my way to be able to stay at home while working at something I love! Take care and I hope you have a beautiful day!
Hey thank for taking the time to write about your struggles and of course your ups in life. I've been a work at home mom for the last 21 years and although its had its difficulties, it has been very rewarding.
Working on your site is still like having your own achievements and your children will look up to you for it, at least you can do it in your own free time.
I don't work 9-5 at home, its an hour here and hour there, it works for me and I love it. My children call me blessed.
Just to encourage you, this has just come to me, please read Prov 31 v 10-31.
v29 “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”
Lady May your words have touched my heart. It makes me happy that you thought of these verses. It gave me another peace to start my day :)
I feel I am on my way to be able to quit my 9-5. No matter what happens, our jobs as mothers and fathers never end. I am loving the process and can't wait to see the outcome!
Appreciate it all, may God Bless your day!
