You are constantly looking forward or backward
There is often something that has not happened (or something that has already happened), which disturbs our inner peace. There is a job you did not get or the job you lost. There is a child you did not have or the child you used to be. But in the end, that's all the wrong perceptions, your mind prevents you from being in peace, especially the thoughts that keep you busy.
The voice in your head is completely out of what is happening now. You are in a future moment where things can go upside down or are jammed in the past where you are constantly releasing the same old movie about the time you went to school exam or you were unkind to someone. You're stuck, but you can not see it.
The movie looks like an absolute reality and keeps you away from true recognition and you can not appreciate the life it is today. But that is not reality. You can not see the present. You are too busy with where you want to be (or where you are), which creates continuous stress. The only solution is the consciousness, the awareness that those voices in the head are just repetitive thoughts - no more, no less
