Before 1997, the fasting sugar limit for Diabetes was 140.
World Health Organisation (WHO) set up a panel, to decrease it and was fixed it as 126.
All of a sudden 14% of world population became diabetics overnight.
Later in 2003, American Diabetic Association (ADA) again decrease the limit to 100.
And after this 60% of Indian population became diabetic.
The AMAZING FACT is that the MEMBERS on those panels deciding the fasting sugar limit consists of; are CONSULTANTS of 7 of THE LARGEST PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES in world.
So in short, IT LOOKS LIKE IT IS THE PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY WHO DECIDES IF YOU ARE DIABETIC OR NOT.
