Getting Over Inertia

Hi Guys and Gals so as you know I'm Ariel trying to create a gaming site and I'm new here. I've created my about me page and I put a lot of stuff in there about myself and my life too. I'm thinking of going premium but, before I do that I want to see if my website can make a couple of dollars first. I went to visit the affiliate programs tab and then clicked on "Join this program" and I came across this giant sheet where I needed fill out all this online paper work. Bureaucracy is something that I can't stand and really turns me off. I really don't like it when I fill out tons of paper work and or jump through a whole bunch of hoops and what waits for me on the other side is a big fat nothing burger. What I really hated when it came to job hunting was all the forms online and offline just forms forms forms and more forms and in the end poof nothing just wasted time filling forms for no reason. What I like to call the form gambling machine. Anyway since this is a proven site with a proven community I will get over this inertia hump and build an amazing website that attracts tons of traffic. Now you can chime in what are your best practices that you personally do to get over the inertia?
