Which One Should I Focus?
Wealthy Affiliate definitely has changed my life. Having found WA is definitely another small success. Heck! It is a huge success.
Learn From The Best
If you are new in Wealthy Affiliate, congratulations! You have found the best place to learn Internet Marketing and the best place to host your website.
I was overwhelmed with the warmest welcome and knocked out by the volume of information and helps available here. I hope you are prepared!
Connect immediately with the Top 200 people. They are the most active people here. Not necessarily sophisticated in internet marketing or website building, though. But they are the most helpful and the most curious.
They want to learn and willing to help. They are the best.
My Mistakes
Everyone says that learning from other mistakes are the best way to avoid mistakes. So learn from me.
I was ecstatic that I can do internet marketing. I immediately build THREE websites. 1 Niche and 2 Bootcamp websites! Imagine that!
Because of my newly found source of energy (WA has full of positive energy), I can manage 3 websites with no problem. But that's only in the beginning.
As life goes on, please welcome life's troubles! :D
This is where the troubles are hindering my internet business life. Now I feel that managing 3 websites at the same time seems a lot of burdens.
There are so little time yet so many things to do. I even can't keep up with the posting schedule.
So, if you are new, please build only 1. ONE. Only one website. Please.. please.. please..
They Are Getting Traction
People may want to advice me to focus on one website, too. After all, I was advising that with the previous statement, right?
I was about to do that. I was thinking about making my Indonesian bootcamp site as my primary focus. But, lo, my niche website making a steady income. Small but steady.
So I started to change focus, making my niche my main now. My January sales almost a quarter of last year total sales. This is a huge increase. My biggest sales was December last year that hit almost 50% of the total sales.
Of course, the logical decision is to focus on this niche website, right?
But, wait... there's more. Now my bootcamp websites also bringing in new people and I just made another sales.
ARRRGGHH!!!
See my dilemma?
This is a good problem. All my websites are getting traction. This is a PROVE that what WA teach is really working.
HELP ME
Now, for you internet marketing veterans. What should I do? Should I keep maintaining my 3 websites or just pick one?
My niche website also helps me create a local market product. I sell an artisan shaving soap that I handcrafted. I add another "trouble" by manufacturing physical product and market it.
On the other hand, WA has equipped me with all digital content marketing knowledge. So I was approached by my friend to help him build his website and managing the digital marketing.
So much to do and so little time.
If you are in my shoes, what will you do? I just need a wider perspective to see my own problems. LOL.
That way I can decide on my next move.
Thank you in advance!
Arief... that keeps telling people to start with only ONE website.

It seems to me that this is very common dilemma of our busines. I'm managing 7 different websites at this moment. Some of them are for the local business, but I have tried with an affiliate websites also. Of course, building a website is only a part of my responsibilities. Now I feel like a sisyphus(from Greek mythology). But every day is new, a day for new decision. :))
Ah.. no hard work is futile. It will be rewarded in due time. and WOW... 7 websites? It is a wonder. (pun intended).
Hey Arief, I will do 1 website only, but if I have to do 2 websites, then I will do the one I love writing about and outsource the other...:) My gut feeling told me you may love the bootcamp website more than yr niche site, I may be wrong, lol. :)
LOL. I still love both of them equally. Yes, the bootcamp makes me more money than the niche, but I love how the niche website is growing.
Like Mr William said, I am slower and behind but I love watching all three grows.
Haha... No matter what, I think you will do well in both, lol. I am pretty slow and I think as slow as tortoise. .haha.:)
Absolutely Arief ONE website at a time especially for monetization.
Give it full attention. The others will keep until you can comfortably shift the burden!
Hi Arief .. you are doing great .. I think that Boomer and Ces (thrifty mom) give good answers. Cheers, William.
I am trying with three site .. I am behind in all of them. I have just made the decision to live with the problem and keep working! There is not magic solution, I do not want to give up any of them and I know this means I will be slower.
Cheers, William.
Hi Arief, its been a long time since I last read a blog from you, I'm not an expert but I have suggesions for you.
I think one is good, two is tolerable, but maybe more than that is trouble. In your situation, I would keep up with your 2 working websites, 1 for the bootcamp and the other one for the niche site.
The idea is to make your niche a sample success story on your WA affiliate site, that would be better because you can connect the dots between the two sites and trigger more affiliates to convert from the success story of your niche site.
Then, you can show your niche site readers how to create the same website (niche site) you have and connect them to the WA site.
I that might be great!
Then, focus on these two sites and plan ahead of scheduling when to post for each site. I know you can do it.

Hi Ces,
Yes. I was overwhelmed with all the tasks at hand. That's why I am not involved in WA as much as I want to.
I will put your opinions into my considerations. Thank you.!
welcome :) but, whatever it is, the bottom line here is that your websites are already working for you even if you ignore it, that's passive income to grow! Congrats anyway!
All of them are growing steadily but at a slow pace (I think). Thank you for your inputs.
I had a similar problem when I first started. I then chose to continue with the website that was making the most money for me and let the other two slide off.
Seeing how I knew that I will always be a member here, I will have plenty of time to either resurrect one of the other websites or start new ones later on.
But focusing on ONE website is definitely the way to go because it is the best profitable way. Now that I make 3 times my WA yearly membership fee every month, I can now start to focus on another website...one at a time.

hi arief - congratulations on your successes.
what about putting the money you gain back into the businesses to grow?
start to outsource the work you feel doesn't grow the business. start to get writers posting, get a VA leaving you with enough time to do the more important bits.
but yes - concentrate on one site at the start, it is so tempting with all of the ideas you get to jump between sites- as i am still doing and get nowhere fast - diluting your efforts.
but in your case you have worked hard enough to make a success.
well done and carry on with your success.

Hi Phil,
I don't think that I need a VA at this moment. Maybe a double in current size is a start for that.
Thank you for your inputs. They give me a lot to consider upon.
are you sure? with a product launch this year as well you will have even less time than you think,
good luck with the launch

LOL.
You are right!
Well... let's see how far I can go with this situation before I choose the VA path.
Thank you!
