The scariest week of my life

I experienced the scariest time of my life.
My daughter had a febrile convulsion. The day she had it was like any other ordinary day.
Me and my wife left for work at 7 o'clock in the morning. At 8 o'clock I had a text message from the Nanny saying that our daughter felt very warm and had puked her breakfast. She thought that our baby was having a fever.
My wife immediately rushed home to be with my daughter. She administered paracetamol to lower the high temperature. All day long my daughter was very happy despite her high fever. Her mom was with her, why wouldn't she be happy?
Off work, I headed straight home to be with my family. Played with my daughter. She is a cheerful girl. Suddenly, at 9:30 PM, while she was sitting on my lap, she had this awkward movement. I thought she was trying to break my hug but she kept doing this odd movement.
I asked, "Abigail, what's wrong?" Then my wife took notice of her face. She was having a seizure. I immediately knew that this was a febrile convulsion.
I put my finger between her teeth preventing her from biting her own tongue. I was calm. But then I saw her blue face. Yes, my daughter turned blue. It can be only one meaning of this. She wasn't breathing. Then I panicked. My wife panicked, too.
I told our Nanny who was staying overnight that day to call doctors from our neighbors. None was willing to help or able to help. So much for having medical students as apartment neighbors.

I just kept calling Abigail to stay awake and stay with us. Do not leave us! Abigail's eyes also scream for help and I was helpless. I don't know what to do. I wasn't ready to see my daughter pass away. Which parents want to see the death of their own children?
I know that I needed to bring her to the hospitals. But she needed to breathe first. It would take 15 minutes to get to the hospital. So I just kept patting her back and told her to stay with us.
Luckily for us or should I say that God loves us, Abigail started to breathe again. Her color returned but she was so weak from the seizure. Our neighbor also arrived and volunteered to drive us to the hospital.
To cut the story short, Abigail was admitted to the hospital for 2 nights. Her temperature came down to normal. We went home happily.
But, the next day! Oh..what a week!
I woke up to a swollen eye. My wife can't believe it. She immediately begged me to see an eye doctor. So, I went. Turned out, I have an allergic reaction with my left eye. Nothing serious.
While I was in the doctor, I received a call from my wife. She told me Abigail had blood in her poop. WHAT??
I immediately went back home, called the office I would not make it again to work, took Abigail to a hospital again. Yes, again. The doctor gave us a prescription for her poop problem.
She is doing better now.
In all, my wife missed almost two weeks of work. I missed a week.
I haven't touched any of my online businesses. I didn't have the energy to write any article.
My health took a big hit. I am coughing badly and my nose keeps running. I needed sleep but could not sleep. Any sudden movement from my daughter will wake me up. We sleep on the same bed.
But a bit of good news. While all of these were happening, I made another sale on my Amazon link and I have referrals coming in. YAY!
That's all for now. Happy healthy everyone!
