Well hello!
Some of you out there must be like, whoa! OMFG its Dean! What the hell? Where have you been?
And the rest of you will have no idea who I am. Well that's all good.
My names Dean, I love WordPress, beer and pizza if I can get it.
So, I haven't been here in some time. An occasional popping online, a reply to a mail here, a G+ chat there.
I have been crazy busy. I am working as many hours as I can on my own business, doing a variety of WordPress and web related geeky stuff.
So busy, that my participation in this community has basically dropped to zero. Event my general and personal IM related things have taken a hit, even www.apinapress.com! Oh noes!
Do I mind? Not at all! I am earning some cash, it's not life changing amounts but its life sustaining amounts. (high tax + high cost of living + enforced pension (22.5% of earnings yikes) = still poor!)
I have my own registered business. Yup thats right, now I will be truly screwed if things go south!
However. As it stands with this amount of income and my workload means that I will continue to be away from WA, which means that I cannot justify paying my subs, so as of errr 2 weeks ish from now I will no longer be a premium member.
I am grateful to you all, you know who you are, for helping me and supporting me through my growing pains of IM.
Those are still occurring but thats good, no pain no gain to quote those there bodybuilders types.
For those new to WA and IM, Kyle, Carson and Jay will put you on the right path. Just remember that this isnt about being handholded and that this isnt about push button success.
If anything I am now working harder than I have ever done in my life, pulling minimum 16 hour days.
Will it pay off? Im going to make sure it pays off.
So what is this rambling thread about? Well it's to say farewell in all its senses. Farewell my friends, I will hopefully return in due course and fare well, may your business and lives prosper.
