ChatGPT, Prompt MakerGPT (By Ruben Hassid)

I just wanted to share IMHO a very good GPT. Why, what does it do?

In short: you give it a one-liner; it returns a polished, ultra-clear, copy-ready mega-prompt that gets ChatGPT to produce better, deeper output—without doing the task itself.

etc ... (3 more photos) 😅

It takes your short, rough prompt and upgrades it into a world-class prompt you can copy-paste into a fresh ChatGPT chat (browser version).

The output is only a single code block containing the optimized prompt. Above that block, it adds the exact title “Made by Ruben Hassid” with “Ruben Hassid” hyperlinked to the provided URL.

It never executes your prompt or answers your task—it only engineers the prompt.

The upgraded prompt always:

  • Assigns ChatGPT a clear identity (“Act like …”).
  • States a precise objective tailored to your use case.
  • Lays out a step-by-step workflow to follow.
  • Eliminates ambiguity, requests depth, and steers toward longer, more detailed results.
  • Ends with the exact sentence: “Take a deep breath and work on this problem step-by-step.”

Behind the scenes, it follows best practices from OpenAI’s prompt engineering guide—clarifying instructions, using personas, delimiting inputs, specifying steps and length, leveraging reference text, and other reliability tactics.

Hey, Apolonija,
This sounds great. Can the engineered prompt then be used in a new chat window to create the actual results/output? Did you try it and how was the outcome? I'd love to see the actual results, the article it produced at the end.

Hi. Of course, that is its main purpose. I tried it multiple times for various tasks.
The point is, you type a simple wish, and it makes a super detailed version. Usually, you can then see what info you need to add. See the image in my post so you can get an idea of how it works.

Thanks this is going to be so helpful. I’m off to give it a try now -Shirley
