Take a Break
I took a well earned break away from this site yesterday and came back to find that my rank has increased.
Is this saying that I shouldn't take a break from this site?
I find this shocking, I walked away from the mainstream to do me and today is my third month here at WA.
In that three months I do not believe that I took any time away from this site except for when I go to sleep. I am now feeling like I cannot take a day away from this site to gather my thoughts and get some rest.
I have decided to focus on my website and stop watching this ranking thing, because ...

Yes the ranking can be a distraction. Also understand it's not just the fact that you took a day off. I believe other peoples actions also matter. So if I am one rank below you and take today off of WA you will probably surpass me. Once again though I believe if I create a blog post that get's a lot of attention your rank can still increase. Productivity over Activity I always say.
I hear that, but why should people have to come back after a day and rebuild their ranks? What purpose is this serving?
I guess that there will be a general increase in the ranking of most of the WA members during the Christmas holiday season. That means that we are still humans and we have another life except for the online one.
Anyways I think that our websites are much more important than the ranking at WA, even though the latter brings some other valuable perks around.
Thank you for sharing Karax, very much appreciated. I came to WA to learn how to build and get my website ranked, because I feel that I have important information to share with the world.
What I didn't come here for is to be judged. I had enough of that in the Jobs I have had.
The only perks I want is freedom from being judge, I believe that people should help and support each other if they can, not play judge and jury on anyone.
Good decision Antilena, I'll be doing the same until Christmas and then I'll take a break to celebrate Christmas and New Years with my family. All the best :-)

Yes, that is true. I have to take regular breaks after years of using a computer, because if I don't I get pain in my eyes.
