What Do I Do With My Other Blogs & Websites That I Host Elsewhere?
My Happy Dance Has Begun
I am so excited to be a Premium member! I have completed Phase 1 of the Affiliate Bootcamp and completed each of the tasks and learned a lot! (Insert My Happy Dance Here!) Join in if you like!
I have dabbled in many different Making Money Online ventures, with some success. However, now is the time to ramp up and jump all the way in. I have referred people and made commission, sell in many online marketplaces, have an online course (I teach eBay), put affiliate links in a variety of posts and social media and even published some eBooks. I am a bit scattered and hopefully WA will reign me in from my "Shiny Object" affliction!
Uh-Oh...What About Weebly?
One dilemma for me is what do I do with my other websites and blogs? Most of them are on Weebly. I own the domain names purchased from Godaddy and I make the websites with Weebly. I find it easy to use and yet, I read that many say to have success, it's Word Press, Word Press, Word Press.
I have used Word Press in the past and am getting back up to speed with it, so that's good. Is there a way to move them over by switching hosting? Or will I lose all my content? I do have some readership on my various sites, so I would rather not lose that. I can see that working with the training on WA will improve my previous work. So I am left scratching my head on what to do!
I Like to Write...Who Knew?
If you would have told me in school that I would be happy to write when I was a grown-up I would have been doubled over with laughter! Isn't it funny when we do something for ourselves we somehow find more enjoyment from it? And it also may be true that we grow up and face our fears more easily. Writing always felt like pressure to me when I was in school. Posting a blog post seems like fun these days. So I will keep on writing!
I Will Continue With the Training
I wish I had more hours in the day. I have been scheduling my time so that I can fit WA into my every day work schedule: between eBay shipping and listing and my other entrepreneurial adventures. I am dedicated to my goals of making more money online in 2020 like most of you! It is actually very exciting, yet many of my in person friends really don't get it. That's okay, they don't have to. You all do! Thank you in advance.
Shed Some Light Please
If any of you can enlighten me on what to do with my various Weebly sites, I am open to suggestions. Keep 'em and make them better with knowledge from WA? Scrap 'em and repost, rehost on WA? Or any combo of ideas. Please comment below. I'd be happy to send links out if that is allowed, to my various sites. If not okay, that's fine too. I'm not a big rule breaker.

Great job so far as far as changing the domains I think you can do that in the websites tab. Click on it the click on the site domains and scroll down and you will see the spot to add your domains. I hope this helped you out. If not you can always ask in the live chat or in the top site bar and some training will show up for you.
I wish you good luck and success here.
Douglas
No problem I just wanted to help as I changed my domain and found this is where I had to do it.

Start a new website using a SIteRubix subdomain and copy and paste all your content from the Weebly format to WordPress format. A WordPress site can be hosted on almost any hosting platform but Weebly cannot.
When you've done with the copy & paste change the DNS to Wealthy Affiliate WA Hosting - Setting Up Your Domain DNS Then use the Move tool to put all your content back on your original domain name where it belongs.
Thanks so much Marion! Very helpful! Can’t wait to get started! Anne
@marionblack It all worked! My site is up and running and was just indexed by Google! Thanks for the info you provided. Now I can begin taking all my other Weebly sites and move them to WA! I so appreciate it! Thanks! ANNE Z
