Getting The Behind the Scenes Stuff Done

I have been busy updating old blog posts for my pickleball website. I've also been updating titles and thumbnails on my pickleball YouTube channel. And the best is that I'm taking many of my videos and turning them into blog posts. Since I have over 300 videos, that can create a ton of blog posts!

I have also become serious about an email list. Worked on that a bit this weekend by creating a lead magnet and a creating a few forms for various purposes on the website and also for social posts that I'm planning.

Basically, one is never done! There is always something that can be improved. I found many posts that were not indexed on Google, and they are now indexed. A few have some errors which I will have to examine to see how to fix.

I have also worked on and updated my resource page full of links for products I love and use, all with affiliate links. Streamlining and making them look better. Small steps, but it sure feels good.

Last but not least, I'm creating a better filing system in my google drive. Each post or video will have a folder, assets, and links and notes. I am using dates and titles. Lots to keep track of on my various spread sheets.

Yes this is all the behind the scene stuff, but important. Not always the most glamorous, but cleaning up the SEO and keywords, and little things will improve their search and possible views and rankings.

Glad to also report, getting a few more sales on Amazon and google adsense for my websites is growing too. By the end of the year, I should reach the ability to receive check or payment. I think my threshold is $100. On my way!
