So after 8 days, my website is now indexed on google.
Its been a bit of a struggle for a technophobe like me, but it feels like such a big win.
I couldn't work out why the website wouldn't index, but with the help of site support and fellow members, I got sitemaps sorted out and google web tools working with analytic s.
