Email marketing was something I always had an interest in, but never took the time to see what we had available to us right here at Wealthy Affiliates. You can find the 'Email Marketing' modules right under the communities tab. Building an email list in any niche is key, especially if you are trying to sell affiliate products.

In the past, when selling affiliate offers, I would usually direct link to the product and try to sell it to the customer. I guess this also works depending on where the customer is in their journey to acquire the product. If you can capture their email address, you will have multiple opportunities to offer the product to them again, as long as they are still on your mailing list. Everyone has a different idea about this; both work and have their advantages and disadvantages, I think.

I just completed listerning to the replay ot the first module of a series taught by Magistudios, (Jay) about a year ago. Email Marketing 101. I truly enjoyed the training. Even though some time has passed since this class, it is just as relevant as the day it was taught. There are learning curves in almost any technology, but once you focus, you can learn anything.

Remember: Your email list is the one asset in your business that you fully control—it's worth the initial effort! Even if you are just starting on your journey, it is recommended that you consider building a mailing list as soon as possible.
